According to Milford volunteer fire Chief Mark Jackson, firefighters responded Thursday morning to an explosion at a pipeline drilling site where a 10-inch pipe was broken. All workers escaped, but the drilling rig was completely engulfed in flames. Several vehicles were destroyed near the drilling site.
About 200 students in the Milford Independent School District were evacuated.
