A plane carrying nearly 100 people went down shortly after takeoff in Kazakhstan, reportedly killing 12 and hospitalizing dozens; FOX News Greg Palkot has the latest.
A Bek Air plane passenger jet was carrying 93 to 96 passengers and five crew members when it took off from the airport in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The Fokker 100 jet was bound for the Kazakhstan’s capital city Nur-Sultan, formerly known as Astana, when it crashed at 7:22am after losing altitude during take-off.
Initially 12 people were killed, and 47 were injured with at least 8 people with life-threatening injuries.
