3RD ALARM FIRE
Video of FDNY arriving on the scene and working fireground at structure fire involving a basement laundromat in a mixed-occupancy, 5-story brick building.
FDNY firefighters responded about 10:15 a.m. Friday November 10, 2017 to a fire in a basement laundromat at 1598 3rd Avenue in Manhattan. Winds were NW 12-15 MPH, gusting to 31 MPH at the time of the fire, according to the National Weather Service Office New York, NY.
At least four aerial mains were elevated to the building.
Three fire was elevated to a 2nd Alarm at 10:20 a.m.
The fire was elevated to a 3rd alarm at 11:08 a.m.
The fire was marked under control at 1:07 p.m.
Injuries: 4 non-life-threatening injuries to firefighters
Fire Damage Estimate: $Unknown
