Libertyville firefighters responded about 10:20 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 to a horse stable fire at 855 North Bradley Road in Mettawa IL with the aid of multiple other fire departments at a 2-Alarm fire.
Lake Forest used a deck gun on an engine, and Libertyville us a Ladder Pipe. A mutliversal and multiple handlines were used to extinguish the fire.
Tenders set up for water operations, but were not needed for extended operations.
No horses were harmed in the fire.
