Lakewood Fire Department (New Jersey) responded about 1:18 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 to a report of an apartment fire with pets trapped and flames showing from the first floor in the block of 1600 Monmouth Road in Lakewood, New Jersey. The apartment building was described as a wood frame building with a brick veneer.
