WARNING BRIEF NUDITY: A woman is in police custody after leading California Highway Patrol on a long pursuit that was terminated after it began on the westbound 101 freeway in Lost Hills. LOS ANGELES AREA – A female adult was arrested and placed in police custody after she lead police on a long pursuit. Initially she allegedly attempted to run over family members, according to police. A police airship located the suspect’s vehicle, and the pursuit began on the westbound 134 to the westbound 101 freeway in Lost Hills when California Highway Patrol (CHP) attempted to pull the woman over. She got off on highway 23 before traveling on the 118 East. She got off on Lincoln Avenue in Pasadena. CHP terminated the pursuit because the believed they knew the suspect.
Pasadena Police discovered the suspect’s SUV, then took over the pursuit before losing the driver in the downtown Los Angeles area. The woman parked her SUV in an alley near 3rd Street and Main Street about 90 minutes after the initial pursuits. The suspect got out of her vehicle and began to remove her clothes. LAPD responded and took her into custody.
The suspect was booked on assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle), reckless driving and felony evading police. Police said she may also be charged with felony vandalism.
