Prince George County Fire Rescues Residents from 2-Alarm Apartment Fire on New Hampshire Ave, Adelphi

Prince George’s County Fire (PGFD) firefighters responded about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to a two-alarm fire in an apartment building in the 9200 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Adelphi.

Several people were rescued down the main aerial of a ladder truck from balconies. Mark Brady, PGFD PIO reports that two residents suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and one firefighter was transported to a burn unit with an inhalation injury. Another firefighters suffered a leg injury.
