VIDEO: South St. Louis apartment fire 2nd Alarm on December 4, 2015.
St Louis firefighters responded December 4, 2015 to an apartment fire at Hampton Avenue and Sunshine Drive. Heavy Fire was showing from an occupied 3-Story, multi-unit apartment building. Reports of occupants trapped on the 3rd floor were met with a rescue with a ground ladder. Six victim treated and transported for smoke inhalation. the fire is under investigation.
The air temperature was about 30 Degrees at the time of firefighting operations. Metro bus brought in to warm displaced uninjured occupants. Firefighters from Affton Fire Protection District provided mutual aid assistance.
