Embraer EMB-500/Phenom 100 Jet Crashes Into House; Kill 3 on Board, 3 Residents in House


Breaking news report from ABC7 WJLA in Gaithersburg, Maryland after a twin-jet engine Embraer EMB-500/Phenom 100 crashed into a house.

Montgomery County Fire & Rescue firefighters responded about 11:00 a.m. Monday to 19733 Drop Forge Lane near Snouffer School Road where a private jet crashed into a house less than one mile from a Montgomery County airpark. The aircraft crashed caused a fire in two homes, according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue officials.

Three people died on the plane, including the CEO of North Carolina company Health Decisions, Dr. Michael Rosenberg. Initially residents in the house were missing, but later an adult woman, a 3-year-old child and a 1 1/2-month-old infant were found dead together on the second floor of the house.
