A higher number of crashes — often involving multiple vehicles — began about 11:00 a.m. in the Pittsburgh area. Crashes were reported on the Westinghouse Bridge in McKeesport, the Birmingham Bridge, the Fort Duquense Bridge, the Glenwood Bridge, the 31st Street Bridge, the Bloomfield Bridge and the Liberty Bridge.
