Firefighting ops on a setback roof of a high-rise under construction in Queens, New York.
FDNY responded on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at about 1:40 p.m.to a fire at a high-rise construction site at 130-30 28 Street in College Point. A two-alarm fire affected a lower floor of the new NYPD police academy in Queens.

Four firefighters suffered minor injuries, and were transported to Booth Memorial Hospital in Flushing.
Second alarm on arrival for a fire at the new NYPD Academy under construction in College Point, Queens, NY. Fire was on a two-story setback roof with possible extension into the building. Fire melted some of the facade and glass. All construction workers were evacuated without injury. two lines were run — the shorter of the two was about 1000 feet, according to FIRELINEVIDEO.COM.
