Police and firefighters paramedics responded about 1:55 p.m. Friday to the New River Community College branch campus at the New River Valley Mall to a report of a shooting.
The incident was contained within one hour and one male suspect is in custody.
Two women were injured. One victim was transported by medical helicopter “LifeGuard 10” in unknown condition.
